Gelareh Reihani
I'm Gelareh Reihani, born in 1986. Born on Dec. 1986. In west south of Iran I was born thorough Iran and Iraq war. I grow up in the ancient area close to ChoghaZanbil Ziggurat and Dez River in a vast farm. Currently I’m living in Tehran for several years. I graduated in Theatre Directing and it’s been years that I’m working in the field of performance. In the very recent years my main concern has been “everyday life of body at the moment” and challenging that. In my opinion the way of our action in individual life and also in social life is hidden in our simple repeated gesture and everyday behavior which means in proportion of ourselves, another one and also our surroundings. I present myself and recognize another one in everyday behavior then I can perceive and make connection. I try to understand the meaning of everyday life in three concepts “human, society, nature”: the relation that I make with these concepts and the way of challenging and questioning them for deeply realizing what is ongoing in the moment.so it makes me choosing and experience for making, progressing and move forward. My performance experiences are always a context for rehearsal and challenging a constant situation and effort for understanding ad making new situation.
